The phased approach here stated for GSK GeoPack 2.0 code release is starting to payoff: It is now made available for those of you who are curious, all the packages that lay the foundations of GeoPack 2.0 and that already allow to perform spatial covariance analysis (2D and 3D).

You have at your disposal routines that can be used interactively to build a covariance model (ready to be used in simulation/kriging routines although these are not yet available) or you can build your own spatial templates to perform spatial covariance analysis that goes beyond bi-point statistics. In the Picture below, three experimental variogram spatial templates can be observed (and you can try them!).

Check out for yourself but be reminded that proper commenting is not yet complete on the available files and that no decent tutorial yet exists (only a lousy one :) ).
A word of caution: Mind that this code is in Alpha stage code will certainly still be subject to major changes!
